New drop-off point at the Lausanne shop
Since May 2024, Tricot-T has become a drop-off point for the organisation Les Petites Pieuvres - Fils de Douceur.
From now on, you can drop off the little octopuses you have crocheted directly to the Lausanne shop so that I can send them to the regional controller. You will then receive a response directly from the controller after inspecting the small toys. It takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive an answer.

Presentation
Three mothers who are passionate about crochet (Emilie Ruch, Maude Di Filippo and Nadège Osmani) created this beautiful association in July 2016 to help premature babies in the first days of their lives. The association brings together all the creators of French-speaking Switzerland and supplies small octopuses for the CHUV, Sion, Yverdon and Neuchâtel hospitals, i.e. more than 1,200 octopuses per year.
Why octopuses?
When you place an octopus in the incubator with the baby, it becomes a little calmer, it pulls less on the pipes and probes.
Do you want to help the association by crocheting or knitting octopuses for premature babies? Consult the association's website which will provide you with all the information you need to embark on this wonderful project. Take the time to read all the explanations so that your little octopuses can easily pass the inspection stage by the controller ;)
