🎁 Gift Cards & Payment
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer digital gift cards. They are sent by email immediately after purchase and contain instructions on how to redeem them at checkout.
How do I use my gift or promo code?
You can apply your code during the checkout step:
- Go to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- On Desktop: The "Discount code or gift card" field is located on the right side of the screen, just above the total amount.
- On Mobile: Click the "Show order summary" link at the very top of your screen. This will expand the hidden panel where you can enter your code.
- Click the arrow or "Apply" to update your total.
Note: Only one discount code can be used per order. If you have a gift card (store credit), it can be combined with current promotions!
🧶 Orders & Products
Can I modify an order that has already been placed?
To ensure fast delivery times, we process orders quickly after they are confirmed. If you wish to modify or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible (info@tricot-t.ch).
Once the package has been shipped, no further changes can be made.
What is a "dye lot number" and why does it matter?
The "dye lot" indicates that several skeins were dyed in the same vat. Colors can vary slightly from one lot to another.
Our commitment: For a single order of a specific item, we always strive to provide skeins from the same dye lot. Depending on our available stock, it may exceptionally happen that we cannot guarantee a single lot for all your skeins.
Pro Tip: We recommend ordering enough yarn to complete your project to avoid stock shortages of a specific dye lot.
📦 Returns & Customer Service
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days after receiving your order to return any item that does not suit you.
Yarn balls must be in their original condition, with the label intact and unused. Skeins must be intact and not wound.
The following types of products are not eligible for return or refund:
- Downloadable content (patterns)
- Books
- Special orders
- Sale items
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the event of an error on our part.
What should I do if I receive a faulty item?
We take great care in the quality of our yarns. However, if you notice a major defect (repeatedly broken yarn, discoloration, etc.), please contact our customer service at info@tricot-t.ch with a photo of the product and your order number.
We will contact you very shortly to arrange an exchange or a refund.
